To clear paper jams, please follow the steps below.
1. Press the cover release lever to open the front cover.
2. Take out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
3. Hold down the lock lever on the right and take the toner cartridge out of the drum unit.Take out the jammed paper if there is any inside the drum unit.
4. Put the toner cartridge back into the drum unit until you hear it lock into place. If you put it in properly, the lock lever will lift automatically.

Replacing Parts Samsung CLP-510
Start up the machine with push in the buttons "online" and "cancel"
--You will see the message "Download mode press online key"
Press about 15 times the "menu" key
--You will see the message "Uncheck consumable mode"
Press about 15 times "menu" and 5 times "enter"
--You will see "Press access key"
Press a few enters
Press 3 times "cancel"
Go to the EDC mode
-- you will see "press access key"
Press "cancel"
Go to maintenance and initialize the parts you like to reset.
Reset for Samsung ML-1660
1.I Remove Other All USB Device Except Mouse.
2.TurnOff Computer.Join The Printer While Computer Is Still Close.
3.Open The Computer.
4.At Printer,I Press One Click Print Buttom.At Print Paper I Also Saw Printer Condition Page.
5.Run The f1660.exe.While Running I don't know this language,I see all word is I can read only V30 Original Firmware Version & V30 Patch Firmware Version.Appear dos window and See Press Any Key To Continue."Need To Press Any Key"
6.I click V30 Patch Fireware Version.And Watch At Printer,After a few seconds, the LED glows orange on the printer,Then Green light blinks 3...4 Time,& Then Still Green.

Samsung ML 1640
1) i am using a commercial toner [aumTEO: toner for use in samsung ML 1710, 1750, 1410, 1510] and one of my ideas is that this kinda toner would overheats the cartridge, therefore activating a thermal sensor, telling the printer to stop printing.
2) while refilling the cartridge... stupid me slipped a good amount of toner inside the green drum [i know... don't laugh too hard please :P ]... so... the toner being present there might overheat the cartridge activating the same thermal sensor i'm thinking about.
3) none of the above... the pages are too curved, therefore making the whole paper feeding process a lil bit more difficult
if i'm just being dumb.

Resetting Samsung printer
You need to press the following keys in quick succession – MENU # 1 9 3 4. Then you should see a message on your display saying ‘TECH.’ Then again select the MENU key followed by ENTER. The display will now show ‘TECH MODE.’
Then select the ‘<’ key two times. Your operator panel should show ‘NEW CARTRIDGE’. Then select ENTER. Now the panel will show [YES]. Select ENTER key again. You can exit from this mode by pressing MENU # 1 9 3 4 again one after another.
